Enjoying our Latibule

Who doesn't love a cosy little place to hide away from the cold and rain. Somewhere to feel protected from the storms - both literal and figurative. (Side note: I was in an online meeting and a lightning bolt hit nearby and made me jump just the other day). The kids are excited that it's going to be fireplace weather again soon. 

I've started a new process in my life. I've started to record when events happen so that I can keep track of them. I found an app for my phone that helps me work out how long it has been since an event has occured. For example, as of today, it's been 4 months and 5 days since we've been on a date with my wife and 1 month since I spent 1-on-1 time with Green - both are long overdue if I want to keep nurturing our relationships. I've spent some 1-on-1 time with the other kids more recently.

The idea is that instead of scheduling in something, you look at the next important thing and then book it in during the week. Things happen that throw your schedule out and this is the next best thing for me at least.
