Being cooped up

We have four chickens. The house we bought had a chicken shed so it was only natural for us to get some chickens. We are learning how to care for them and we are starting to learn about the pecking order after finding one chicken was getting roughed up by the others.

We decided that they were getting bored and that they needed some time out in the yard. Being cooped up is never good for anyone and having the chickens explorer the garden - despite how much they scratch it up.

We are back in lockdown. Safe at home but feeling a little cooped up. Fingers crossed it doesn't last for long.
