Being scared of the wind

One of the large 25 meter trees fell onto our house last week. The electricity turned off and in the pitch dark we heard a rustle of leaves and a thud. For such a large tree - we thought it would sound worse and do more damage.

Here I am next to the tree at a 45 degree angle.

 No one was hurt but given that our youngest was in the part of the house the tree feel onto - we were a bit shaken up by it all.

Now, every time the wind howls I get a little nervous. One thing for certain is that houses are stronger than what I thought.
