Autumn Flowers

Autumn is here again and we are back to getting cosy by the fireplace. All that wood that I chopped last year is coming in handy now - even if I had my doubts about using soft wood.

 The kids have enjoyed a cousin-swap sleep over for the last few days. It's been good having a mix of younger kids and then just teenagers. The teenagers are a welcome break from having to help little people all the time.

 We took the teenagers to the local flower festival but our time there was a little short due to the rain and colder weather. We had fun nonetheless.

 

 

On another note, I saw a short video about telling your loved one that you are their favourite. I think it's sweet and something we should acknowledge all the time. You are allowed to have favourites and sometimes you might even like them (and some days you don't - and that's okay). Just be patient with each other.
