What I have

 It really does feel like an injustice that kids get so much time off during the New Year. I find it difficult to have to go back to work when they are enjoying the time off - especially since I work from home.

I try to make the most of the time off. I try to 'make hay when the sun shines' but it's difficult getting everyone organised. We did manage to get out a few times - and here is the proof.

 

We made Christmas cookies 

 

 

We checked out the Elephant enclosure at Werribee Zoo

 

 

 

New Years Eve we explored rock pools and failed to see the fireworks. 

  

 

We went up the 1000 Steps and got ice-cream afterwards.

 

 I've seen countless friends who have had more exciting breaks but it's best not to compare yourselves. Not everyone is in the same phase of life or has as limited means as you do. I have enough and I'm grateful for what I have.
