Family Meal Traditions

We used to make pikelets on Saturday morning. That hasn't happened for a while. I do make home made pizza (on the pizza steel) and it's a family favourite. The only problem is that the kitchen gets really hot and it's not comfortable when it already hot. It's just so convenient as a go to meal that we just keep doing it - regardless of the weather.

I've made dough from scratch so long that I don't even need to look at the recipe any longer. I love working with it and the yeasty smell is why I enjoy making it each week.
